We are pleased to introduce Kiana De Bruyn as the latest member to join the Kogitas Team! Kiana has joined the team from Richmond Systems Limited which was acquired in 2021. As part of the Kogitas Marketing Team, she will be delivering marketing for all of the products that are developed and supported by Kogitas.

In 2018, Kiana graduated from Cove School in Farnborough, England. Instead of going directly to higher education, she decided to spend time travelling in South Africa in order to get a wider perspective on life. Upon returning to Farnborough she took a short-term role in a Dementia Care Home before applying for a Digital Marketer Apprenticeship at Guard Business Solutions in order to kickstart her career in digital marketing.

When asked why she decided to go down that route, Kiana commented that

”… I wanted to do an apprenticeship because it’s structured so that I can learn on the job and gain experience and insight into the professional world. As well as learning new skills, I can implement them into my workplace in real-life situations. It hasn’t always been easy at times as I’ve had to juggle full-time work with exams, studying, and other responsibilities, as well as navigate through a completely new industry, but I’m grateful for the support I’ve received from my employer and work colleagues.”

Kiana is now at the end of a 15-month-long apprenticeship journey, and after officially completing it, she will be awarded a BCS Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship, allowing her to join as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership of the BCS (British Computer Society). She will also receive a Google Analytics IQ qualification which shows her proficiency with Google Analytics.

Romana Miler, the Kogitas Marketing Manager, commented that

”… Over the last 7 months, it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside Kiana. Over that period, she showed a great skillset, diligence, adaptability, and willingness to learn new things. Not only did she add great value to our Marketing Team, but we also started to gain great momentum in the marketing direction for the companies and products within the Kogitas Group. I look forward to working with Kiana over the coming years and guiding and supporting her as she grows in her professional role.”

In her spare time, Kiana likes to write poetry and go for hikes.
